Frequently Asked Questions
We value your time, so we’ve done our best to provide fast answers—all in one place. We’re happy to address some of your most frequently asked questions about our schools and programs here. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
How do I enroll my child in LABBB programs?
We also love welcoming new members to our community! Please visit our Admissions page for information about enrolling your child in our programs.
Do you provide transportation services?
We are pleased to provide our students with transportation to many of our programs–both during the school day and for extracurricular activities. We partner with our sending school districts, community vendors, and staff to transport students safely. We expect all students to adhere to the transportation rules for their own safety as well as for the safety of others. For more information, please visit our Transportation page.
What are your program hours?
Please visit our Calendar page.
What if my child will be absent from school or needs to leave school early?
If your child must miss school, please refer to our call-in policy You will also need to call your child’s transportation provider.
If your child arrives to school late or needs to leave school early, a parent or guardian must sign in/out and drop off/pick them up at the front office of the school they attend. If your child will not be returning to school that day, you will also need to call your child’s transportation provider to cancel services for the afternoon.
If your child becomes ill at school, you will be contacted by the school nurse where your child attends. Please plan to pick them up as soon as possible, preferably within the hour, for their own comfort and the safety of other students. If you cannot be reached, school staff will contact your child’s emergency contacts. Please cancel any Home Service appointment scheduled for that day.
What if we can’t make our Home Services appointment?
We require 24-hour notice to reschedule service sessions. If that amount of time cannot be given, we may be unable to reschedule. Home service sessions are automatically canceled if the student’s school is closed. These sessions are not rescheduled.
If the home service provider cancels, he/she will make every attempt to reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time or add additional time during the next regularly scheduled session(s).
What are LABBB’s severe weather procedures?
We adhere to all host district’s decisions regarding school weather cancellations, delays, or early releases. If your child’s host district is closed for inclement weather, LABBB programs within that district are also canceled. Should your child’s school close but their LABBB program remains open (for example, if your district is in a different town than their LABBB program), transportation will not be provided. However, parents are welcome to transport their own children to and from LABBB activities. Should your host district call a “delay start,” LABBB activities will also be delayed. All updates regarding these closings will be posted on our website. For more information, please view our Closing Procedures policy.
