Primary Development Program - Memorial School

The Primary Development program is an elementary classroom designed for students with Autism. In this highly individualized class, a small group of students receive individual and small group instruction to build communication, social and academic skills. Principals of Applied Behavior Analysis guide instruction, and sensory integration and visual supports are integrated into classroom activities and lessons. Individualized integration opportunities are provided in general education classrooms and specials. Students enjoy all aspects of elementary school life such as recess, assemblies, reading buddies and field trips. Program services include occupational, speech/language and physical therapy as well as behavioral consultation and parent training.
