Overview

The Butler LABBB Program is a language based program. Our goal is to maximize our students' academic accomplishments using individualized, multi-sensory teaching methods. Literacy, reading, writing and math are the core focus of our academic lessons. Our academic programs follow the Massachusetts Frameworks, with modified curricula to address students' strengths and weaknesses. Students benefit from specialized instruction in self-contained classrooms as well as the social academic opportunities provided by daily integration into the regular education environment. Our high student/staff ratio enables differentiated instruction in group and individual settings. A variety of instructional techniques are employed to ensure that all learning styles are addressed. Related services including occupational, speech/language and physical therapies are available. We appreciate and encourage partnerships with families as we believe that a consistent approach to learning at home and school increases opportunities for success.
